Product notes

Ground cinnamon is a spice made from the dried bark of the cinnamon tree, finely ground into a powder. Renowned for its warm, sweet and captivating aroma, it develops sweet, woody and slightly spicy notes that add a delicious touch to many recipes.

An essential ingredient in baking, it enhances tarts, biscuits, cakes, compotes, custards and gingerbread. It is also used in hot drinks such as hot chocolate, coffee, tea or mulled wine. In savoury cooking, it forms part of many spice blends and delicately flavours tagines, couscous, stews and marinades.

Easy to measure out thanks to its fine texture, ground cinnamon quickly releases its aromas into dishes. To preserve its full aromatic intensity, it is recommended to store it in an airtight container, away from heat, light and moisture.
