Product notes

Smoked paprika is a spice made from ripe red chillies, which are slowly dried over wood smoke before being finely ground. This traditional process gives it a deep red colour and a distinctive aroma with smoky, woody and slightly fruity notes.

Highly prized in Spanish cuisine, where it is known as pimentón, smoked paprika adds a rich and authentic flavour to meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, potatoes, sauces, soups and stews. It is also ideal for seasoning grilled dishes, marinades and barbecued dishes.

Its unique flavour recreates the aromas of wood-fired cooking without the need for traditional smoking. It adds depth, character and a gourmet touch to many recipes.

Serving suggestion: add the smoked paprika at the end of cooking or to your marinades to preserve the full richness of its flavours. A small amount is enough to give your dishes a warm and delicately smoky flavour.
